My area of interest is age-related cognitive decline (i.e., changes to thinking skills in older adults). My research focuses on exploring how the types of activities we participate in (e.g., activities that are mentally, physically or socially engaging) can influence thinking skills in older age, and how we can harness these activities as ways to promote healthy cognitive ageing. I am also interested in how personality is related to thinking skills in older age.
