Welcome to our Lab Booking System.
The labs are located in Lord Balerno Building (LBB), top floor, next to main reception. The LBB is located at building number 9 on the map – see map HERE (open in another tab)

Please note:

1. You must first read and sign the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) the first time you use any of the labs. Return the form to soss.psychologytech@hw.ac.uk.
2. Download the form in PDF or DOCX format (opens in another tab).
3. No block bookings i.e. multiple bookings per day for multiple days or weeks.
4. No food, drinks or mobile phones. Only bottled water is allowed.
5. This is a testing area and noise should be kept to the minimum.
6. If you plan to use a lab for your experiment it is strongly suggested to pay a visit to the labs first before you conduct your experiment.

To book a lab please visit the Resource Booker, sign in with your HWU credentials and select “Laboratories (Psychology)”

Our newly established and well-equipped psychology laboratory is designed to facilitate conducting sophisticated research for both students and university staff. In order to, optimize your research experience, we would appreciate it if you could book your preferable day and time via this link in advance.
